AAH THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS.
Or is that Vegas? Could go either way to be honest. New York city was a dream for me for many, many years. Probably since I was 13 years old- my friend and I were determined to go to NY in December to see the snow covered city. 15 years later, I make it there, but with my Mom! We had lost my grandmother- her mom- in November, and we figured it'd be a good way to spend some time together. This was technically the first time I had traveled with my mom since we moved here.
FIRST DAY IN NEW YORK CITY...
If I told you any trip you'd make with me, you'd walk EVERYWHERE...would you go? Basically what I asked my Mom before she signed up for this! I like to discover the overall feel of a city, which you can basically only do by walking! We averaged about 10 miles each day in 30* degree weather. The first day, we tried to find a coffee shop nearest to our hotel- Tisserie was it! It actually had a pretty cool vibe + pastries to choose from (we definitely heard A LOT of Argentinians in line!) As always, I get an almond milk vanilla latte (now it's oat milk ;)). It was definitely a great start to our very long day of walking + coffee tasting!
CENTRAL PARK: It can literally take you the entire day. I want to say we walked for a few hours then ended up at the Plaza Hotel. We got some snacks then headed back out to CP for more views. There was some snow left over, but definitely not enough to make a snowman! So many birds around, people and artists! After walking through, we got lunch and tried to find Central Station before our evening appointment at the top of the Rocketfeller center! Here's some views from the day!

DAY3
DUMBO- too crowded and way overrated. Keep walking and you'll find this beautiful park and better views! Brooklyn Bridge was fabulous but definitely too crowded as well... I would highly recommend going early early to avoid the crowds.
